Turner went out on the town tonight. Every Friday at the end of the month there is an art district downtown which offers a late night tour. We had a friend who opened a new fitness training gym and tonight was their grand opening. So the Koltnow’s went downtown to get some culture. I don’t know how impressed Turner was by the whole ordeal as he slept the entire time. He did wake up in two galleries but quickly went back to sleep. I guess modern abstract is just not his style.<\/p>\n

Yesterday Jenny had to work late so I got to experience the rush of day care pick-up. Let me tell you this is no small feat and certainly not something that you should just enter into lightly. It is a very regimented and organized dance that must be maneuvered with grace and ease. Both of which I was not to close to having. Fortunately the staff was on the lookout for me and made it very easy. Turner seems to love the place. When I got there he was relaxing in a vibrating baby swing watching some lights flash and bobbing his head to the rhythmic squaks of the play toy attached to the swing. He seems well-liked and the center’s staff is caring and friendly. He seemed to know who I was as he immediately began to squall as soon as I walked in the room. Nah…actually he smiled and laughed and made me feel like a million bucks. This dad thing is easy sailing right now. I am going to milk it as best I can because I know that it won’t always be such a cake walk.<\/p>\n
